MANUAL LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE
Compressive lymphatic drainage is a method used in the treatment of the lymphatic and circulatory systems, used in aesthetic medicine, physiotherapy and cosmetology. The treatment stimulates the venous and lymphatic systems, cleans and nourishes the tissues, improving the overall condition of the body. The treatment is recommended for the treatment of venous and lymphatic edema of various origins, swollen cellulite and trophic disorders caused by circulatory changes.
During the pressotherapy treatment, as a result of the stimulation of appropriate points on the body, there is better nutrition, improvement of the work of cells and the functioning of internal organs. The metabolism of adipose tissue and metabolism in the skin, subcutaneous parts and muscles are improved. The skin becomes firmer and more elastic. The flow of lymph in the lymphatic system is improved. Thanks to this, pressure therapy heals chronic edema, drains excess water in the body, removes metabolic products - harmful cells, bacteria and toxins, heals cellulite, prevents varicose veins and peripheral circulation failure, especially in the lower extremities, and allows you to get rid of the cold feet effect. It is a perfect complement to postoperative care after liposuction procedures.
COMPRESSIVE LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE - HOW IT WORKS
Pressotherapy is a modern technology for compressing lymphatic drainage, with the use of special sleeves into which a stream of compressed air is introduced. The procedure consists in placing the patient in a coverall that consists of empty chambers. Then, using the compressor in the device, in a strictly controlled manner, air is introduced into the chambers, which causes pressure on individual parts of the body, pushing blood and lymph to the nearest lymph nodes. First, the ankle chambers are filled up through the calves. This type of lymphatic drainage allows for thorough cleansing of tissues of residual toxins and removing excess water from the body.
We can choose programs: draining, body shaping, cellulite reduction, swelling and water stagnation. To increase the effects, pressotherapy can be combined with other treatments.
PROCEDURAL PROTOCOLS
Presotherapy is recommended for reducing venous and lymphatic swelling (excess fluid and protein in the circulatory system or interstitial space can cause inflammation) because it acts as muscle stimulation, helping to push lymph and stimulate the absorption of excess fluid into the circulatory system.
We have the following programs to choose from:
- intensive lymphatic drainage - venous insufficiency
- intensive lymphatic drainage - lymphedema
- deep lymphatic drainage - edema and water retention
- superficial lymphatic drainage - fluid retention
- excessive localized accumulation of adipose tissue
- edematous and compact cellulite
- soft cellulite
- prevention of thrombosis
Presotherapy also acts as a complement to cellulite reduction treatments and fat tissue reduction due to its soothing effects, circulation stimulation, and natural toxin elimination.
