Breakthrough in skin cell regeneration

Autologous exosomes are a new generation of regenerative therapy that sets the direction for the development of 21st-century aesthetic medicine. They are derived from the patient's own blood and serve as a biological "language" of communication between cells. Thanks to them, the skin knows how to heal, how to rebuild, and how to return to a youthful rhythm of functioning - without synthetic preparations, without artificial stimulation, in 100% accordance with nature.

This is not only a safe alternative to mesotherapy or plasma - it is a therapy that activates fundamental repair processes at the level of genetic transcription, with efficacy confirmed in biomedical studies.

WHAT DOES AUTOLOGOUS EXOSOME THERAPY INVOLVE?

The patient's blood is used to obtain platelet-rich plasma (PRP), which is then subjected to innovative processing in the AutologIX system (ProtSmart 6 + IDRIA G) - one of the most advanced technologies for exosome concentration available worldwide. Thanks to selective ultrafiltration (cut-off 15 kDa), only the most valuable molecules are extracted and concentrated from the plasma:

  • exosomes (30-100 nm) - carriers of RNA, proteins, lipids, enzymes, and regenerative signals,
  • cytokines and growth factors released by activated blood platelets,
  • microvesicles and other fractions with high tissue regeneration potential.

The result is a sterile Pl-EXO concentrate - ready for needle application to the skin of the face, neck, décolleté, scalp, or selected body parts.

HOW DO AUTOLOGOUS EXOSOMES WORK?

Exosomes are extracellular nanovesicles secreted by almost all types of human body cells. In autologous therapy, we use exosomes derived from activated platelets of the patient's blood (Pl-EXO), which:

  • transport genetic information (mRNA, miRNA, cDNA) and metabolites,
  • regulate the function of skin cells and connective tissue by modulating gene expression,
  • stimulate the production of collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid,
  • dampen chronic inflammation associated with aging,
  • accelerate cell divisions and activate tissue repair mechanisms.

This makes exosomes not only regenerative but essentially "reset" the biological program of skin cells, restoring their youthful metabolic activity.

WHO IS AUTOLOGOUS EXOSOME THERAPY INTENDED FOR?

The treatment is intended for individuals who:

  • are looking for a natural, yet highly advanced method of skin regeneration,
  • have signs of photoaging, loss of skin density, wrinkles, deep-set furrows,
  • have undergone laser or surgical procedures and need reconstruction,
  • struggle with chronic acne, seborrhea, eczema,
  • suffer from excessive hair loss and weakening of hair follicles,
  • cannot use traditional biostimulants or do not want to use synthetic preparations.

The therapy is excellent for both women and men. It can be used on its own or as regenerative support after invasive procedures.

THE EFFECTS OF AUTOLOGOUS EXOSOMES ACTION

The effects of Pl-EXO are not superficial. It is a therapy that works at the molecular and cellular levels, bringing visible and lasting qualitative changes to the skin.

Clinical effects of Pl-EXO therapy:

Face, neck, décolletage:

  • increased skin density and elasticity after 2-3 weeks,
  • reduction of mimic and structural wrinkles,
  • improved facial contour and reduction of nasolabial folds,
  • evening out skin tone and brightening complexion,
  • reduced pores and improved skin structure.

Eye area:

  • brightening under-eye shadows,
  • increased skin tension of upper and lower eyelids,
  • reduction of puffiness and tired eye effect.

Scalp:

  • inhibition of hair loss and activation of hair follicles,
  • thickening, strengthening, and densifying hair structure,
  • improved microcirculation of the scalp.

Body skin:

  • improved skin firmness and tone on arms, abdomen, thighs,
  • assistance in reducing stretch marks and scars,
  • enhanced complexion, moisture, and skin elasticity.

The effects accumulate over time and last for many months. Pl-EXO affects not only appearance but primarily the biological quality and efficiency of the skin.

CONTRAINDICATIONS TO AUTOLOGOUS EXOSOME TREATMENT

Although Pl-EXO therapy is one of the safest regenerative procedures due to its fully autologous nature, there are certain clinical conditions that exclude or temporarily limit the possibility of performing the procedure.

Absolute contraindications:

  • Coagulation disorders and platelet dysfunction, including: severe thrombocytopenia (PLT <105,000/µl) and platelet autoimmune diseases
  • Active malignant diseases, especially of the hematopoietic and bone system
  • Sepsis and generalized bacterial or viral infections
  • Severe systemic inflammation (significantly elevated CRP)
  • Hemodynamic instability (severe circulatory disorders)
  • Significant anemia - hemoglobin <10 g/dl
  • Active autoimmune disease in exacerbation phase (e.g., lupus, RA)
  • Immunosuppressive therapy or chemotherapy
  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding period (lack of safety data)

Relative contraindications (require consultation and stabilization):

  • Use of anticoagulant drugs (temporary discontinuation may be allowed after consultation with a physician)
  • Uncontrolled diabetes
  • Skin infections at the site of the planned procedure
  • Systemic steroid therapy

All contraindications are assessed during the qualification consultation. In case of doubt, additional diagnostic tests are recommended.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR AUTOLOGOUS EXOSOMES PROCEDURE?

In order to achieve optimal regenerative effect and ensure the safety of the procedure, the patient should adequately prepare for the treatment.

Pre-procedural recommendations:

  • 3 days before the procedure: discontinue anti-inflammatory and blood-thinning medications (e.g. Aspirin, Polocard, Acard, NSAIDs) – only after consulting with the attending physician.
  • 24-48 hours before the procedure: avoid alcohol and smoking cigarettes – these substances lower the quality of plasma and the effectiveness of therapy.
  • 2-3 days before the procedure: drink a minimum of 1.5-2 liters of water daily – proper hydration improves the volume and quality of the collected blood.
  • On the day of the procedure: eat a light meal 1-2 hours before the procedure. Do not come on an empty stomach.
  • Avoid intense physical exertion before the procedure.
  • Inform the doctor about all medications, supplements, and past illnesses.
  • Do not plan laser treatments, microneedling, or mesotherapy on the same day – the therapy schedule is determined by the doctor.

RECOMMENDATIONS AFTER AUTOLOGOUS EXOSOMES PROCEDURE

The Pl-EXO therapy works deeply and long-term - stimulating the skin cells for intensive regeneration. To fully utilize the potential of exosomes and minimize the risk of adverse effects, it is recommended to follow the guidelines below:

Immediately after the procedure (first 6-24 hours):

  • Do not touch, rub, or massage the injection sites.
  • Avoid applying makeup or other cosmetics to the treated skin area for at least 12 hours.
  • Avoid using products with alcohol, acids, retinoids, or irritating substances.
  • If there is mild swelling, redness, or warmth - a cool (but not freezing) compress can be applied.
  • Avoid bending the head downwards, intense laughter, yawning, or facial expressions - for the first 3-4 hours after the procedure.

Within the first 48 hours:

  • Avoid physical exertion, gym, running, or workouts.
  • Avoid sauna, sunbed, steam room, or hot baths.
  • Avoid alcohol consumption and smoking - as they weaken the regeneration and action of exosomes.
  • Avoid other cosmetic or aesthetic treatments on the same area (unless recommended by a doctor).
  • Sleep with the head slightly elevated, preferably on the back.

Within 5-7 days after the procedure:

  • Avoid sun exposure - use a sunscreen with SPF 50+ daily, even on cloudy days.
  • Gently cleanse and moisturize the skin - according to the specialist's recommendations.
  • Avoid mechanical or chemical peels, and do not use sonic brushes.
  • Maintain proper hydration - at least 2 liters of water daily.
  • Eat a healthy diet - rich in vitamins, antioxidants, and omega acids to support the therapy's effects.

In the following weeks:

  • The effects of exosome therapy increase over time - initial changes are visible after about 2-3 weeks, and the full effect can develop even over 2-3 months.
  • If necessary, the doctor may recommend repeating the procedure after a specified time (e.g., in trichological therapy).
  • The skin after Pl-EXO becomes more receptive - this is the perfect time to start targeted home care or continue with salon therapy.

Safe and effective regeneration begins with conscious post-procedure care.
