Do fat cells disappear?
The debate about fat cells has been going on for years. Until recently, scientists were convinced that they are only formed up to a certain age. This age is defined differently depending on the source. Some studies suggest that the production of adipocytes, or fat cells, occurs only in childhood, while others mention that they are formed up to the age of 20.
However, the latest research shows that we possess multipotent cells - preadipocytes, from which, throughout our lives, various cells, including fat cells, can be formed. Scientists also point out that after the age of 20, these cells are much more difficult to form than before, so the statement that fat cells are permanently lost still remains valid.
The reasons for the formation of fat cells in adulthood are the same as earlier. An unhealthy lifestyle, overeating, hormonal imbalances, or metabolic issues.
It is known that prevention is the best approach. However, mistakes related to fat accumulation in youth can also be corrected. Of course, a healthy diet and physical activity are recommended. The problem lies in the fact that this will reduce the volume of fat cells, not their number, so they may return to their original size. Fortunately, new technologies can help reduce the NUMBER of fat cells. This makes the effects of weight loss and body shaping more lasting and effective.
Removing fat cells is often associated mainly with liposuction. However, we should be aware that this is a surgical procedure. Nevertheless, at the Beauty Embassy in Warsaw, there are two technologies available that NON-INVASIVELY reduce the number of fat cells.
The first of these technologies is cryolipolysis. It involves freezing adipose tissue locally. Fat cells die at low temperatures, resulting in the desired reduction in the number of fat cells. Thanks to adherence to all procedural standards and the use of top-quality equipment, clients of the Beauty Embassy are very pleased with the results of this therapy.
The second technology that allows for the reduction of adipocytes is ONDA. This technology utilizes CoolWaves, which have a frequency that specifically targets fat tissue while bypassing other structures. It causes fat cells to first start "sweating," and then their cell membranes rupture, leading to irreversible cell death. Patients at the Beauty Embassy in Warsaw appreciate these treatments for their long-lasting effectiveness.
Which of these treatments will you choose and why?
