Dermaquest Skin Brite
During the summer, our skin gains color in the form of a tan. To eliminate discoloration caused by an excessive amount of melanin due to UVA and UVB radiation, sun protection should be used. Unfortunately, sunscreens do not always help and skin discolorations may still occur. However, there is a solution. Dermaquest has created the Skin Brite series designed to address discoloration. Dermaquest - What kind of company is it? Dermaquest is a company founded by an American laboratory, created by the renowned chemist Sam Dhatt. The cosmetics are mainly based on plant stem cells enclosed in liposomes and biomimetic peptides that mimic substances present in the skin and interact with target cells. Peptides enclosed in liposomes allow for a high concentration of these ingredients. What are the active ingredients in the series and what are their effects? The key ingredients in each product of the Skin Brite series are shiitake mushroom extract, hexylresorcinol, and white lily stem cells. Shiitake mushroom extract has a brightening effect. With the presence of kojic acid, this acid competes with natural enzymes responsible for melanin production, ultimately blocking them. The result of using shiitake mushroom extract is brighter and illuminated skin. Hexylresorcinol is one of the strongest tyrosinase inhibitors, it inhibits melanin production in the skin, stimulates proper cell function, and has antioxidant properties. White lily stem cells, like the previously mentioned active ingredients, have a whitening effect and are rich in antioxidants that neutralize free radicals and eliminate their excess from the body. In our salon, three products from the Skin Brite series are available: - The face cream effectively combats pigmentation disorders thanks to its formulation and synergistic active ingredients. Additionally, the cream contains a lipophilic form of vitamin C, which penetrates the epidermis three times more effectively than L-ascorbic acid, stimulating fibroblasts and sealing blood vessels. The action of vitamin C inhibits tyrosinase activity, thus counteracting melanogenesis. Additionally, shiitake mushroom extract dissolves melanin accumulated in the epidermis. The cream is recommended for use in the morning and evening. - The serum, which contains hexylresorcinol, is effective in combating discoloration. The active ingredients are based on liposome technology, allowing them to penetrate deeper skin layers. The serum is recommended for use after chemical peels and laser therapy to prevent discoloration. - The last product on our shelves is the eye cream dedicated to individuals with dark circles, puffiness, and discoloration around the eyes. Eyeseryl, also known as a tetrapeptide, reduces congestion and fights against the formation of swelling due to poor lymphatic circulation or high permeability of capillaries. It inhibits collagen glycation, preventing loss of elasticity.
