Will a nail painting skeptic find something for themselves? #ThroughThePatient'sEyes

It's time for a story about a girl who wanted to have perfect nails, but... well, read the column to find out.

Beautiful, colorful nails. Elegant and perfectly matched to any outfit. A wonderful description that applies to… most of my friends, but not me. My story is simple. In my search for the perfect solution to nail art, I have tested a lot of options on myself and so far none of them have passed the test.

The first one was traditional nail polish. It's quick to do, there's a huge selection, and a price to choose from, for every budget. However, there are a million dilemmas here: How often should I paint my nails? Should I do them myself or use a specialist? The first question is quite easy to answer in my case. After one day of everyday life, my nails look more like a poorly preserved ancient fresco, where half the plaster has fallen off, and I feel like walking around in gloves all day long. Should I do them myself or go to a manicurist? There's only one answer to that: I don't have time for daily visits or dealing with it.

So what to do? My friends, who are delighted with hybrids, recommended this solution to me. It works great for them. And for me? After a week, half of it fell off, and a damaged plate emerged from under the varnish, as if someone was conducting archaeological research in it (maybe they wanted to find those previously mentioned frescoes?). Further attempts ended with the same story, so I gave up on the subject.

The specialist from the Beauty Embassy in Warsaw, not at all surprised by my stories, because, as it turned out, I was not an isolated case, suggested a titanium manicure. Resigned, I agreed and we tried it.

Security

The treatment was different from all my previous ones. As someone who reads labels, I also had to read the ingredients. I was pleasantly surprised because, compared to other methods I have tested, the products here are less invasive and the main substance is largely powdered mineral - titanium dioxide. In this case, experts agree - this method is safe even for pregnant and breastfeeding women. That convinced me. Additionally, the fact that this method does not use a UV lamp further confirmed that I had made the right decision about the treatment. After all, UV rays effectively age our skin.

Still skeptical (I know my nails, and they have their own will and decide what sticks to them ;)), I left my hands in the hands of a specialist.

Effect

The nails turned out to have a thinner layer than with a hybrid and even after my daily madness with the kids, they lasted a long time (about 3 weeks on my stubborn nails). After removal, the nail plate was intact, and the specialist assured me that this method actually strengthens it.

I finally felt that I had found a method for myself that would allow me to enjoy beautiful nails for a long time without feeling guilty about caring about my health.
