LED light therapy has broad spectrum of activity. Light is an extremely important factor for the existence and proper functioning of living organisms. Treatments with LED light does not warm the skin as the laser light, so that it is non-invasive, but very effective method of improving the condition of the skin.

LIGHT THERAPY - PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION

Light therapy increases the energy potential of cells through stimulation of mitochondria (energy centers of cells). Stimulated and oxygenated cells increase metabolism and optimally absorb the active substances supplied to them, which, in addition to intensively stimulating action, leads to better absorption of nutrients provided to the skin during the treatment.

In the Cryolift III device, we have four types of light, and their combination ensures synergy of action and exceptional effectiveness. The four synergistically acting colors penetrate to different depths of the skin and affect all its layers.

  • Red light - penetrates deepest into the dermis, stimulates proliferation (division) and metabolism of fibroblasts, leading to the production of growth factors and connective tissue elements (collagen, elastin, GAG). Red light, by interacting with the immune system (production of anti-inflammatory cytokines by tissue macrophages), has anti-inflammatory properties and soothes irritations. Oxygenates cells, increasing the bioavailability of nutrients. Improves skin tone by regulating microcirculation, smoothes and densifies the skin, reduces signs of aging (wrinkles, loss of elasticity and firmness), supports skin regeneration, and acts as anti-aging prophylaxis.
  • Yellow light - penetrates slightly shallower than red light, intensively stimulates fibroblast metabolism for collagen and elastin production, thereby accelerating skin regeneration, wound healing, and scar reduction. Yellow light therapy is also recommended for anti-aging prevention.
  • Green light - penetrates to the level of the boundary between the papillary and reticular layers of the dermis, improves blood circulation and tissue oxygenation, has brightening properties - affects superficial pigmentation, normalizes the melanogenesis process, and aids in reducing pigmented spots.
  • Blue light - penetrates the skin to a shallow depth, provides excellent results in the therapy of acne-prone skin. Acts directly on Propionibacterium Acnes (direct cause of acne). Has bactericidal and anti-inflammatory properties, reduces inflammatory changes and prevents the formation of breakouts. Well tolerated even by sensitive skin. Proprionibacterium Acnes strains produce porphyrin (in the physiological life cycle). Photoactivation leads to light absorption by porphyrin (chromophore) and release of singlet oxygen in reaction, which has a targeted bactericidal effect (P. Acnes are anaerobic bacteria).

Additionally, Cryolift 3 combines two light modules: continuous and pulsating, providing proper cell stimulation (optimal stimulation of mitochondria and generation of the correct level of energy associated with ATP (adenosine triphosphate)).

The research program of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has shown that light-emitting diodes (LEDs) have a significant impact in many fields of medicine. Studies have demonstrated that light therapy using LED diodes accelerates wound healing processes and promotes human tissue growth.
