Hyaluronic acid + polylactic acid
Modern aesthetic medicine is constantly searching for innovative methods that allow for effective and long-lasting skin rejuvenation without the need for surgical intervention. In response to these needs, Juvelook was created – an advanced collagen stimulator that uses the power of poly-D,L-lactic acid for comprehensive regeneration and improvement of skin structure, as well as non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid. This innovative product – a hybrid filler – allows achieving natural, subtle lifting effects, smoothing of wrinkles, and restoration of firmness, while simultaneously stimulating repair processes taking place in the skin. Thanks to this modern technology, Juvelook is a breakthrough solution for people seeking long-lasting rejuvenation results, while maintaining a natural appearance.
WHAT IS JUVELOOK? EFFECTIVENESS OF POLYLACTIC ACID
Juvelook is one of the most effective tissue stimulators in aesthetic medicine, which is based on poly-lactic acid (PDLLA). Poly-lactic acid is fully biocompatible and safe because it naturally degrades in the body, stimulating collagen production. Collagen is a protein responsible for hydration, as well as maintaining the firmness, elasticity, and youthful appearance of the skin.
Thanks to the use of poly-lactic acid, Juvelook not only fills fine wrinkles and lines, but above all activates regenerative processes, contributing to a long-lasting improvement in skin structure. It is an ideal solution for people who desire a natural rejuvenation effect.
Juvelook is a poly-lactic acid that can be used in the delicate eye area and for mesotherapy of the face, neck, and décolleté. Thanks to the combination of PDLLA poly-lactic acid with HA hyaluronic acid, it is possible to achieve an effect that is visible immediately after the procedure.
HOW DOES THE TISSUE STIMULATOR JOOVELOOK WORK?
- Immediately after injection, the filler fills the tissues with non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid. Micro-particles of polylactic acid provide cohesiveness to the hydrogel with hyaluronic acid, preventing its displacement, resulting in an immediate and noticeable filling effect.
- After 2 weeks, as the hyaluronic acid begins to hydrolyze, the micro-particles of PDLLA are activated, stimulating collagen production, and consequently gradually and long-lastingly improving the elasticity, firmness, and density of the skin.
- After 6 months, we can observe the full effects of the procedures. By this time, the filler has undergone gradual biodegradation, restoring volume and elasticity to the skin.
WHEN TO USE THE JUVELOOK TREATMENT?
Jouvelook is dedicated specifically to people with a large number of fine lines, poorly toned and sagging skin that has lost its natural radiance and youthful appearance. It is a highly effective tissue stimulator for rejuvenation and firming of the delicate eye area, reducing dark circles under the eyes, and filling in volume deficiencies in the lower eyelid area, known as tear troughs.
WHAT EFFECTS DOES THE JUVELOOK TREATMENT PROVIDE?
Juvelook is a biostimulating therapy that works on multiple levels – it simultaneously improves skin quality, stimulates the production of new collagen, and gradually restores tissue structure. The effects appear in stages: initially, an improvement in skin hydration and tension is visible, while full collagen remodeling develops over the following weeks and months after completing the therapy.
After a series of treatments, the following can be observed:
- reduction of volume loss in the tear trough area, making the look appear more rested and fresh;
- lightening of dark circles under the eyes associated with volume loss and skin quality deterioration;
- smoothing of fine, net-like wrinkles around the lower eyelid through the gradual reconstruction of support fibers;
- thickening, firming, and strengthening of the thin skin around the eyes, resulting in its greater resistance to aging processes;
- improvement of skin tension and elasticity of the face, neck, and hands thanks to the stimulation of fibroblasts to produce new collagen;
- deep tissue regeneration and reconstruction of the extracellular matrix responsible for skin firmness and elasticity;
- intense nourishment, hydration, and illumination of the skin, restoring its healthy and younger appearance;
- revitalization and improvement of skin structure, visible as greater smoothness and uniformity;
- natural rejuvenation effect without excessive volume increase or alteration of facial features.
The first effects related to the improvement of skin hydration and tension appear just a few days after the treatment; however, the collagen remodeling process takes time and gradually intensifies over about 2–3 months. The best results are achieved after a series of 2–3 treatments at intervals of 6–8 weeks.
The effects of the therapy can last for at least 24 months after completing the full treatment series. The durability of the results is influenced by, among other factors, the patient's age, baseline skin condition, lifestyle, degree of photoaging, and the body's individual regenerative capacities.
JUVELOOK PROCEDURE PRICE
The price of the Juvelook treatment depends on the area being treated, the degree of volume loss, skin quality, and the amount of the preparation required to achieve optimal results. Each treatment plan is determined individually during a consultation with a specialist, who tailors the scope of therapy to the patient's needs and expectations.
Below is the price list for treatments performed using the Juvelook product:
CONTRAINDICATIONS FOR THE JUVELOOK TREATMENT
Despite its high safety profile, the Juvelook procedure requires a prior medical consultation and the exclusion of contraindications that could affect the healing process or increase the risk of side effects. Qualification for the procedure is always determined individually and takes into account the patient's current health status.
The main contraindications include:
- pregnancy and breastfeeding;
- active viral, bacterial, or fungal infections at the site of the planned procedure, including herpes;
- skin inflammation, eczema, psoriasis, or atopic dermatitis in the treated area;
- cancers and the recovery period after oncological treatment;
- autoimmune diseases in the active phase;
- blood clotting disorders and the use of anticoagulants;
- tendency to form hypertrophic scars and keloids;
- uncontrolled diabetes;
- severe systemic diseases;
- hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the product;
- fever, systemic infections, and significant weakness of the body.
In the case of chronic diseases, medications being taken, or previous aesthetic medicine procedures, the decision to perform the therapy is made by the doctor during the consultation.
JUVELOOK POST-TREATMENT RECOMMENDATIONS
After the procedure, temporary redness, mild swelling, tenderness, or minor bruising may occur, which usually subside within a few days. Following post-treatment recommendations supports proper tissue regeneration and helps achieve the best treatment results.
For the first few days after the procedure, it is recommended to:
- avoid touching, pressing, or massaging the treated area, unless advised otherwise by a doctor;
- refrain from strenuous physical exertion for 24–48 hours;
- avoid saunas, hot baths, swimming pools, and cryotherapy for about a week;
- limit sun exposure and the use of tanning beds for at least 14 days;
- apply creams with high protection SPF 50 daily;
- refrain from consuming alcohol for 24 hours after the procedure;
- refrain from other aesthetic procedures in the treated area until the skin has fully regenerated;
- use skincare products recommended by the specialist.
The process of biostimulation and collagen remodeling continues for many weeks, which is why the final results appear gradually. To achieve optimal results, a series of 2–3 treatments performed at 8-week intervals is most commonly recommended, along with maintenance treatments tailored to individual skin needs.
