Jak naturalnie wspomóc organizm w walce z wirusami? Przepisy na domowe specyfiki
… natural immunity boosters and patience. Yes, patience, because immunity cannot be built in a week. However, by using natural boosters, we can also temporarily help ourselves in protecting ourselves from infection, and in the long run it will give us the expected effect of strengthening immunity. So what is worth having in your home medicine cabinet?
Although garlic is said to be an excellent tool for repelling vampires, we recommend it more for repelling microorganisms (and unwanted kisses after its consumption ;) ). Garlic has antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral properties. However, in order to fully benefit from the power of garlic, you should remember a few important rules. First, garlic loses most of its properties after heat treatment, so it is worth eating it raw. To release the enzymes and active substances we need (e.g. antibacterial allinase, or antiviral allicin and thiosulfinate), it is worth crushing the garlic. What's more, it is best to do this at least 10 minutes before eating, because these substances may lose their properties later.
Advice:
For a ready-made dish or a cold yogurt-based sauce, squeeze garlic in a press and mix just before eating. You will then benefit not only from its properties, but also from the vitamins it contains, which will have a positive effect on your immunity.
Another ingredient rich in healing properties (antiviral, antibacterial and antiparasitic) and vitamins is ginger. Interestingly, ginger also has anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties (research indicates that it has analgesic properties comparable to ibuprofen - link below). It is important, as in the case of garlic, that it is fresh, because gingerols play a large role in the aforementioned healing properties, which quickly evaporate during heat treatment and drying.
Recipe 1:
If you have a sore throat, you can simply cut a fresh slice of ginger and place it in your mouth, and the active ingredients will soothe the inflammation and disinfect your throat.
Recipe 2:
To strengthen your immunity, you can blend peeled ginger root and mix it with lemon juice and honey in a 1:1:2 ratio and eat this mixture depending on your needs (and body weight) in the amount of 1-3 teaspoons a day.
If you ask your grandmother what is the best remedy for a cold, one of the first answers will probably be onion syrup. This age-old tradition has its scientific basis. In addition to a huge amount of vitamins and minerals, onions also contain substances that have antibacterial, antiseptic, antiviral, expectorant, and even… antidiabetic effects (thanks to glucokinin). It is perfect for rhinitis and wet cough.
Recipe - onion syrup:
Slice the onion and arrange it in a jar, covering it with sugar after each layer. After some time (a few to a dozen or so hours), when the onion has released the right amount of juice, you can strain the syrup through gauze and put it in the fridge. In case of colds, it is recommended to drink a spoonful or teaspoonful (for children) of this syrup three times a day.

Remember that in the event of illness, a doctor's consultation is often necessary and we recommend using medical care. It is also worth knowing that the basis for building immunity is a healthy diet. At the Beauty Ambassador in Warsaw, you can make an appointment with a dietician to review your current diet, or start a new, healthier one and take care of your immunity at the root.
