The effectiveness of the fractional laser depends on power and depth of action - both of these variables are linked. The greater the power, the wider the ablation zone around the microinjury in the skin and the deeper the tissue remodeling. The laser beam of the Alma Harmony XL Pro uses ablative technology and reaches up to 3 mm - this is about twice as good as previous versions of the device.
Thanks to this, regeneration covers deeper layers of the skin, and the effect is more intense and longer-lasting. At Ambasadzie Urody we perform iPixel treatments on the Alma Harmony XL Pro platform, which allows for repeatable and precisely controlled resurfacing effects. Check what distinguishes this laser from standard devices.
From reports by our female patients we know that iPixel treatments are associated not only with better effectiveness but also with a noticeably improved comfort of the entire procedure. The device's high power and fast operation shorten the treatment time.
Advantages of iPixel compared to older lasers:
- Faster post-treatment recovery - healing takes 2 to 4 days instead of a week with older equipment,
- Greater comfort during the procedure - the procedure is shorter and less painful,
- Thinner laser beams - they heal more easily than the wider beams used in other devices of this type.
The iPixel laser reduces atrophic scars - post-acne, postoperative and post-traumatic - by replacing scar tissue with new collagen fibers and improving skin texture. Keloids are a contraindication. Scar smoothing continues to improve for several months after treatment.
iPixel reduces stretch marks by tissue remodeling and improves skin density. Laser lifting reduces skin laxity of the abdomen, thighs and arms - the skin becomes noticeably firmer and more elastic. Remember that fresh stretch marks respond to firming better than old, silvery changes.
Epidermal ablation - acting like a precise laser peel - reduces post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, sun-induced pigmentation, age spots and actinic keratosis, revealing an even, radiant complexion. Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and pigment spots are among the most common indications for the iPixel laser procedure.
After the procedure, the skin reacts with redness and swelling around the eyes. Within 24-48 hours, micro-scabs - a grid from microbeams - appear, and skin peeling lasts from 3 to 7 days. This is natural - the skin is working intensively on rebuilding. Heat shock proteins trigger regeneration in deeper layers. Remember that picking at scabs can lead to discoloration.
| Day | Skin Condition | Recommendations |
| 1-2 | Severe redness, swelling around the eyes, feeling of heat and burning | Cool compresses, panthenol, no makeup |
| 2-3 | Appearance of micro-scabs - visible grid from microbeams | Do not touch, do not pick, intense moisturizing |
| 3-5 | Skin browning, gradual skin peeling | SPF 50+ absolutely, avoid the sun |
| 5-7 | Final peeling, revealing new skin | Gentle cleansing, continue SPF 50+ |
| 7+ | Smooth skin, redness subsides, brightening effect | Can return to makeup, continue SPF 50+ |
The use of SPF 50+ sunscreen for at least a month is an absolute requirement. Use creams with panthenol and ceramides (e.g., Bioderma Cicabio or A-Derma Epitheliale), avoid makeup for the first 24 hours, and refrain from using the sauna and swimming pool for a week. Moisturizing and SPF 50 photoprotection are mandatory conditions, not options. We always discuss post-procedure care guidelines during consultations - before the first treatment and after each session.
The optimal effects are achieved with a series of 3 to 6 treatments at intervals of 4 to 6 weeks. The full production of collagen and elastin takes 3 to 6 months, and the longevity of the effects can last up to 24 months. Remember that the intervals between treatments are crucial for effective skin remodeling.
Make sure not to take retinoids (isotretinoin, Izotek), antibiotics, or herbs such as St. John's wort or calendula. A medical consultation is necessary before the procedure.
Absolute contraindications:
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding,
- Recent tan - risk of discoloration,
- Active cold sore,
- Photosensitizing medications - retinoids, St. John's wort, calendula, antibiotics,
- Exclusionary diseases - cancer, diabetes, epilepsy.
Smooth, taut skin and noticeable reduction of scars or discoloration - these are realistic effects you can achieve with a properly planned series of treatments. Every skin is different, which is why the number of sessions and their intensity are chosen individually. Schedule a consultation and plan a series of treatments tailored to your needs.
Do iPixel treatments hurt?
Before the procedure a topical anesthetic cream is applied, and the Alma Harmony XL Pro has a cooling system. Most female patients feel a slight burning sensation - the procedure is more tolerable than with CO2 lasers.
How long does it take for the face to heal after an iPixel treatment?
Erythema and swelling subside within 2 to 4 days, microcrusts within 3 to 7 days. The final rejuvenation effect is visible after 3 to 6 months — that is how long full collagen remodeling takes.
How much does the iPixel treatment cost?
The price depends on the area (face, neck, décolleté) and the number of sessions. You can find the current price ranges in the price list on our website.

Intensive skin renewal – visible rejuvenation and improvement in skin quality
iPixel laser resurfacing is one of the most advanced ablative technologies in modern aesthetic medicine, dedicated to patients expecting real skin remodeling. The procedure uses a fractional ablative laser that initiates a controlled regeneration process – leading to epidermal renewal and deep remodeling of the dermis. The result is noticeably younger, firmer and more even skin.
This is a therapy that works where traditional cosmetology reaches its limits – at the structural level of the skin. Thanks to the precise Alma Lasers technology, it is possible to achieve spectacular results while maintaining a high safety profile and a controlled recovery time.
How does the iPixel laser work?
The procedure is based on advanced fractional ablation technology, which enables simultaneous exfoliation and regeneration of the skin. The mechanism can be described in several key stages:
- controlled epidermal ablation → the laser vaporizes microscopic columns of tissue, removing damaged cells and initiating the renewal process
- creation of microthermal zones of damage (MTZ) → triggering intensive regeneration and skin remodeling
- stimulation of fibroblasts → increased production of new type I and III collagen and elastin
- dermal remodeling → thickening, firming and improvement of skin architecture
- accelerated cellular renewal → shortening the skin's regenerative cycle and improving its biological functions
Thanks to fractional technology, part of the skin remains intact, which significantly speeds up healing and minimizes the risk of complications. It is a precise “controlled injury” that the skin converts into an intensive renewal process.
Who is the procedure recommended for?
This solution is for patients who expect clear, not subtle, rejuvenation and improvement in skin quality. The procedure is particularly recommended in cases of:
- visible wrinkles and loss of firmness → both superficial and deeper skin structures
- post-acne, surgical and post-traumatic scars → requiring tissue remodeling
- enlarged pores and uneven skin texture → thick skin prone to congestion
- hyperpigmentation and photoaging → sun damage and uneven tone
- tired, dull skin of reduced quality → requiring intensive regeneration
This is a therapy for people who understand that effective rejuvenation requires work at a deep level of the skin.
Areas of application
The procedure can be precisely tailored to different areas depending on the skin's needs:
- face → comprehensive rejuvenation, improvement in tone and structure
- eye area → wrinkle reduction, improvement in the quality of thin skin
- neck → firming and smoothing of lax skin
- décolletage → reduction of photoaging and hyperpigmentation
The ability to work at different depths allows individualization of therapy – from gentle refreshment to intensive remodeling.
iPixel treatment effects
The effects are both immediate (resulting from tissue tightening) and long-term (related to skin remodeling):
- noticeable firming and thickening of the skin – the skin becomes more toned, resilient and resistant to gravity
- recontouring of the facial oval – skin becomes firmer and facial contours are more clearly defined
- wrinkle reduction – smoothing of fine lines and reduction of deeper mimetic and static folds
- improved skin texture – noticeably smoother surface, reduced pores and evened texture
- evening out of tone, elimination of hyperpigmentation and reduction of signs of photoaging – a brighter, more radiant and more even complexion,
- softening of post-acne, burn and surgical scars – gradual remodeling and smoothing of skin irregularities
- the “new skin” effect – freshness, healthy glow and noticeable rejuvenation visible after the first treatment
Compared to other fractional lasers, iPixel works intensively on the skin surface and in its deeper layers, which accelerates regeneration and enhances the smoothing effect. The procedure combines the benefits of a deep laser peel with stimulation of the skin’s natural rebuilding processes.
Treatment frequency
The iPixel procedure can be used as a single, intensive procedure or as part of combined therapies.
- 1 treatment → in the case of deep, intensive skin remodeling
- 2–3 treatments in a series → for more demanding issues (scars, deep wrinkles)
- intervals between treatments → usually 4–8 weeks, depending on intensity
The treatment plan should always be individually tailored by a specialist – taking into account skin condition and expected outcomes.
