Male therapy for hair loss and thinning
Healthy, thick hair is an attribute of masculinity, youthfulness, and good health. Their loss can significantly affect self-confidence and well-being, so it is worth taking action immediately when you notice the first signs of hair loss or thinning. In our clinic, we offer a comprehensive approach to male hair loss problem, based on modern and effective aesthetic medicine methods - needle mesotherapy and autologous therapies.
The treatments are performed using the highest quality trichological products, biomimetic peptides, and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) that stimulate dormant hair follicles, strengthen existing bulbs, and stimulate the hair regrowth process. Therapies are safe, minimally invasive, and tailored to the needs of male scalp skin.
WHAT DOES THE PROCEDURE INVOLVE?
Precise scalp stimulation - regeneration at the source of the problem
The treatment of alopecia in our clinic is based on microinjections into the hairy scalp, which allow for the direct delivery of active substances to the hair follicles - where they are most needed.
Depending on the needs and indications, we use:
- Needle mesotherapy of the scalp - administering mixtures of vitamins, microelements, amino acids, biomimetic peptides, and hyaluronic acid with nourishing and strengthening properties;
- Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) - utilizing the patient's autologous blood and concentrated growth factors that naturally stimulate cell regeneration and activate dormant hair follicles;
- Advanced trichological cocktails with growth factors and peptides - modern preparations for intensive treatment of androgenic alopecia, alopecia areata, and chronic hair thinning.
The procedures are performed with a thin needle or a special mesotherapy gun, allowing for the even distribution of active substances in the scalp. The entire procedure takes about 20-40 minutes and requires no recovery time.
WHO ARE HAIR LOSS TREATMENTS INTENDED FOR?
Trichological therapies are dedicated to men at every stage of hair loss problems - both in the initial phase and with more advanced baldness. The earlier you start treatment, the greater the chance of effective regeneration.
Indications for the procedure:
- androgenetic alopecia (typical male pattern baldness),
- patchy alopecia and chronic hair loss,
- hair weakening after periods of stress, illness, or weakened immunity,
- hair loss due to dietary deficiencies (e.g. iron, zinc, biotin),
- deterioration of hair quality: thin, brittle, lackluster,
- dehydrated, flaky scalp,
- hair greasiness and oily dandruff,
- seasonal hair loss (autumn/spring),
- excessive hair loss after COVID-19 or viral illnesses,
- hair loss prevention in men with a genetic predisposition.
The treatment can be combined with appropriate supplementation, home care, and trichological scalp analysis.
TREATMENT EFFECTS FOR HAIR LOSS IN MEN
Therapy brings very good results both in inhibiting excessive hair loss and in improving their structure, density, and condition. The key is the therapy plan and the regularity of treatments.
Most commonly observed effects:
- stopping or significantly limiting the hair loss process,
- stimulation of new hair growth (also in areas previously thinned out),
- improvement of microcirculation of the scalp and better oxygenation of the hair follicles,
- revitalization and nourishment of the scalp,
- thickening of existing hair - greater hair volume,
- strengthening the hair root in the follicle - less fragility and hair loss,
- regulation of sebaceous glands' function (reduced oiliness),
- reduction of dandruff symptoms and scalp itching,
- visible rejuvenation of the hairstyle and improvement of the external appearance.
The results are long-lasting with the maintenance of treatment regularity and a healthy lifestyle. For many patients, the effects of therapy translate not only into appearance but also into self-confidence and quality of life.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Although mesotherapy and autologous therapies are safe and minimally invasive procedures, there are certain contraindications to their performance. Each patient undergoes qualification before starting the therapy. Contraindications include:
- active inflammatory conditions of the scalp (fungal infections, abscesses, psoriasis in exacerbation),
- allergy to the components of the preparations (in classical mesotherapy),
- blood clotting disorders or taking anticoagulant medications,
- active autoimmune diseases,
- current or past history of cancer,
- uncontrolled diabetes,
- systemic infections (viral, bacterial),
- skin diseases of infectious origin,
- blood and hematologic disorders,
- use of immunosuppressive drugs.
POST-PROCEDURE RECOMMENDATIONS
After the procedure, the scalp may be slightly red and sensitive - this is a natural reaction of the body. To maximize the effects of the therapy, it is worth following a few simple rules. Post-treatment recommendations:
- do not wash your head for a minimum of 24 hours after the procedure,
- avoid sauna, pool, and intense physical exertion for 2 days,
- do not use styling products (gels, pomades) for 48 hours,
- protect the scalp from strong sunlight for 3-5 days,
- avoid scratching and intense touching of the scalp,
- use recommended strengthening and soothing preparations,
- in the case of therapy with serum - ensure hydration before the procedure (min. 1-1.5 liters of water).
A series of treatments usually consists of 3-6 sessions at 2-3 week intervals, followed by maintenance treatments every 3-6 months.
