HOW DOES A NON-ABLATIVE FRACTIONAL LASER WORK?
Non-invasive Fractional Skin Resurfacing works in a non-ablative way, meaning it does not cause damage to the outer layers of the skin. It is performed with a fractional laser in areas where there is sagging, deep wrinkles, or scars (e.g. acne, postoperative).
The unique system of pinpoint heating of the skin causes "focused" interaction precisely in the area where collagen stimulation should occur. Thanks to high energy, collagen is heated in a pinpoint manner. The area where the treatment was performed contains heated points (destroyed collagen) and unheated points. Fragments of healthy tissue between the destroyed points accelerate the regeneration process. This leads to stimulation of new collagen formation in damaged areas, consequently reducing wrinkles or scars and firming the skin.
