Hyaluronic acid fillers are currently one of the most popular treatments in aesthetic medicine. They rely on providing a substitute source of hyaluronic acid to fill furrows and wrinkles and for volumetry (restoring lost volume of tissues). The use of hyaluronic acid also helps restore the proper level of skin hydration and reduces wrinkles and furrows.
Hyaluronic acid improves tissue volume immediately after the treatment. It is injected in a specific volume intradermally or subcutaneously and by lifting the superficial layers of the skin, it allows it to shape its surface by filling in folds, wrinkles and skin creases that resuled from facial expression and to correct the shape of specific facial areas.
WHY DO WE NEED FACE MODELING?
Over the years, due to the slow disappearance of the subcutaneous tissues of some parts of the face, in particular around the temples and cheekbones, the volume and contour of the face changes, which makes it not look so young anymore. The proportions change, the volume decreases. A young face is V-shaped. The younger the face is, the skin is firmer and contours are more visible, the face is symmetrical and V-shaped. With age, the V-shape reverses - the face oval widens downwards.
The reason for this are defects in connective and bone tissue, as well as a decrease in the amount of fat. The fat in the face moves down, causing the skin to sag and change the perfect oval of the young face. The cheeks fall, the chin slackens, nasolabial furrows are formed, the face "hardens", and the soft rounding of the cheeks - a symbol of youth - disappears.
