Natural rejuvenation, skin regeneration and hair growth stimulation with fibrin

Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF – Platelet-Rich Fibrin) is one of the most advanced methods of regenerative medicine, utilizing the body's natural potential for skin restoration and rejuvenation. The preparation is obtained from the patient's own blood, thanks to which the therapy features a high safety profile and excellent biocompatibility.

The treatment does not mask signs of aging or change facial features. Its goal is to stimulate natural repair processes, rebuild the skin structure, and improve its quality. Platelet-rich fibrin is used not only in aesthetic medicine, but also in orthopedics, maxillofacial surgery, dentistry, and sports medicine, where it has been used for years to support tissue regeneration.

Thanks to its unique structure, platelet-rich fibrin allows for achieving natural, gradually building effects of rejuvenation, firmness improvement, and revitalization of the skin of the face, neck, décolletage, hands, and scalp.

WHAT IS PLATELET-RICH FIBRIN?

Platelet-rich fibrin is an autologous concentrate obtained from the patient's blood through a specialized centrifugation process. The preparation contains blood platelets, leukocytes, adhesion proteins, progenitor cells, and a natural fibrin network that forms a biological scaffold supporting tissue reconstruction.

Unlike platelet-rich plasma (PRP), fibrin has a three-dimensional, cross-linked structure that enables the gradual release of growth factors even for up to a dozen days after the procedure. Thanks to this, the regeneration process takes longer and is more intense.

The preparation contains, among others:

  • platelets responsible for releasing growth factors;
  • leukocytes supporting repair processes;
  • fibrin forming a natural scaffold for regenerating tissues;
  • cytokines and proteins involved in healing processes;
  • growth factors stimulating the production of collagen and elastin.

Since the material comes exclusively from the patient's body, the risk of allergic reactions and hypersensitivity is minimal.

HOW DOES PLATELET-RICH FIBRIN AFFECT THE SKIN?

The effectiveness of platelet-rich fibrin is based on the synergistic action of the body's natural repair mechanisms. After administration into the skin, a multi-stage regeneration process begins, the effects of which develop gradually over the following weeks and months.

The most important mechanisms of action include:

  • gradual release of growth factors, such as PDGF, TGF-β, VEGF, EGF and IGF, which stimulate skin cells to renew;
  • activation of fibroblasts responsible for the synthesis of new collagen and elastin fibers;
  • stimulation of angiogenesis, i.e. the formation of new blood vessels that improve tissue oxygenation and nourishment;
  • stimulation of regenerative processes in the dermis and subcutaneous tissue;
  • improvement of microcirculation and cellular metabolism;
  • creation of a natural fibrin network, which serves as a biological scaffold supporting tissue reconstruction;
  • increasing skin density and quality through long-term remodeling of its structure;
  • a delicate volumetric effect resulting from the spatial properties of the fibrin network.

Scientific studies indicate that platelet-rich fibrin can stimulate regenerative processes for a longer period than classic platelet-rich plasma because growth factors are released gradually, rather than all at once. As a result, the skin regains firmness, elasticity and a healthier appearance in a natural and harmonious way.

WHO IS PLATELET-RICH FIBRIN INTENDED FOR? WHEN IS IT WORTH PERFORMING THE PROCEDURE?

Platelet-rich fibrin is a regenerative therapy designed for individuals who want to stimulate the skin's natural renewal processes, improve its quality, and slow down the aging process. The procedure works well both preventatively, at the first signs of loss of firmness, and in patients who already show more advanced age-related changes.

Due to its regenerative properties, platelet-rich fibrin is used not only in anti-aging therapies, but also in the treatment of scars, stretch marks, and excessive hair loss. It is an excellent solution for people seeking natural rejuvenation methods that utilize the potential of their own body.

The procedure is worth considering in the case of:

  • loss of firmness and elasticity of facial skin;
  • the first signs of aging, such as fine lines and expression lines;
  • skin laxity of the cheeks, jawline area, and neck;
  • loss of skin density and tension;
  • dark circles, hollows, and deterioration of skin quality under the eyes;
  • tired, dull, and lackluster complexion;
  • loss of volume in the temple and cheek area;
  • wrinkles and skin laxity of the neck and décolleté;
  • aging of the skin on the hands;
  • acne scars and selected post-traumatic scars; stretch marks;
  • excessive hair loss and androgenetic alopecia;
  • weakened, thin, and volumeless hair;
  • skin regeneration after laser treatments, medical peels, and microneedle radiofrequency;
  • the need to accelerate healing after selected aesthetic medicine procedures.

When is the best time to start platelet-rich fibrin therapy?

Platelet-rich fibrin can be used both preventatively and as part of rejuvenating therapies in individuals with visible signs of aging. The best results are achieved when the procedure is performed before significant loss of collagen and elastin, as it effectively slows down the aging process and preserves good skin quality for longer.

The therapy is particularly recommended for people who:

  • expect natural rejuvenation results without altering facial features;
  • want to improve skin quality without using synthetic fillers;
  • are looking for regenerative methods based on their body's own resources;
  • want to delay the appearance of further signs of aging;
  • value gradual, harmonious improvement of appearance.

Each procedure is preceded by a medical consultation during which a specialist assesses the condition of the skin, the degree of advancement of aging processes, and selects an individual treatment plan. In many cases, the best results are achieved by combining platelet-rich fibrin with other methods of regenerative medicine, such as platelet-rich plasma, mesotherapy, or biostimulating treatments.

WHAT EFFECTS CAN REALISTICALLY BE EXPECTED FROM PLATELET-RICH FIBRIN?

Platelet-rich fibrin belongs to the group of modern biostimulating therapies aimed at stimulating the skin's natural regenerative processes. The treatment does not act like a classic filler – it does not alter facial features and does not give an excessive volume effect. Its role is the gradual reconstruction of tissues, improving skin quality, and restoring its younger, more rested appearance.

The first effects of refreshment and improved hydration may appear after 2-3 weeks, while the process of collagen and elastin remodeling usually takes from 2 to 6 months. The final result depends on the patient's age, skin condition, lifestyle, and individual regenerative capacity of the body.

After the procedure, you can expect:

  • Improvement of skin firmness and elasticity – stimulation of fibroblasts leads to increased collagen and elastin production, making the skin tighter, more elastic, and resistant to loss of firmness.
  • Thickening and reconstruction of skin structure – fibrin supports the regeneration of the dermis, improving its thickness and quality, which is particularly visible around the cheeks, temples, and jawline.
  • Smoothing of fine lines and expression lines – regular stimulation of repair processes helps to shallow superficial wrinkles and improve overall skin texture.
  • Natural rejuvenation of the eye area – the treatment can reduce the appearance of dark circles, improve the tightness of thin skin under the eyes, and reduce the look of tired eyes.
  • Subtle improvement of the facial contour – the three-dimensional fibrin network creates a biological scaffold supporting the tissues, allowing for a delicate lifting effect without altering the natural proportions of the face.
  • Brightening and evening out of skin tone – improved microcirculation and the formation of new blood vessels make the skin regain freshness, a healthy glow, and a more uniform tone.
  • Regeneration of delicate areas of the neck, décolleté, and hands – areas particularly exposed to aging processes regain better tension, smoothness, and a younger appearance.
  • Shallowing of selected scars and stretch marks – stimulation of tissue remodeling can lead to an improvement in skin structure and a reduction in the visibility of post-acne lesions and stretch marks.
  • Stimulation of hair growth and reduction of hair loss – growth factors contained in fibrin stimulate hair follicles, improve scalp blood circulation, and support the bulb regeneration process.
  • Acceleration of recovery after other aesthetic medicine procedures – platelet-rich fibrin works perfectly as a supportive therapy after laser treatments, microneedle radiofrequency, or medical peels.

It is worth remembering that platelet-rich fibrin yields the most natural results among aesthetic medicine procedures. The results appear gradually, as they result from biological skin reconstruction rather than mechanical tissue filling. In most patients, the best results are achieved after completing a series of treatments and combining the therapy with properly selected skincare and a healthy lifestyle.

Platelet-rich plasma + I-PRF platelet-rich fibrin

Platelet-rich fibrin is a new-generation platelet concentrate that is obtained from the patient's blood by collecting it and then centrifuging it. The material is rich in stem cells and growth factor-producing platelets. Fibrin differs from platelet-rich plasma in that it has a cross-linked, three-dimensional structure, thanks to which it creates a mesh at the injection site that supports the skin and stimulates the subcutaneous tissue to renew, giving the effect of gentle filling (volumetry), and the platelets contained in it for a long time are stimulated to secreting growth factors rebuilding the skin structure.

The effect of platelet-rich fibrin on tissues is based on two basic mechanisms:

First of all, thanks to the content of a large amount of growth factors, it stimulates various types of regenerative processes in tissues. As a result, there are a number of benefits in terms of improving the firmness, vitality and health of tissues (e.g. skin).
The second mechanism is the action of platelets, i.e. thrombocytes, which, apart from their obvious function of ensuring proper blood clotting, also secrete significant amounts of growth factors, which additionally support the activity of those factors that are already present.

Platelet-rich fibrin is used for comprehensive biostimulation and skin rejuvenation. The treatment regenerates collagen and elastin fibers responsible for keeping the skin in good condition, making it an excellent method of rejuvenating and improving the appearance of the face. It improves the firmness and elasticity of the skin, thickens it, removes wrinkles and nasolabial folds, definitely rejuvenates the face oval and the eye area. It also works to improve the appearance of more delicate and difficult areas such as the neck, cleavage or hands. It is also very effective in treating baldness or removing scars, especially hypertrophic ones, as well as removing stretch marks.

The preparation is natural, safe and does not cause allergic reactions.

Platelet-rich plasma + platelet-rich fibrin I-PRF for hair

Natural stimulation of hair growth and scalp rejuvenation

Treatment using I-PRF, a platelet-rich fibrin, is an innovative autologous regenerative therapy that effectively stimulates hair growth, improves scalp condition, and supports combating hair loss. With a high concentration of platelets, stem cells, and growth factors, I-PRF acts directly at the site of the problem – stimulating hair follicles, improving microcirculation, and accelerating regenerative processes within the scalp.

It is an excellent alternative for individuals who want to halt hair loss and thicken their hair in a completely natural way without burdening the body with synthetic substances.

How does I-PRF work on the scalp?

During the procedure, platelet-rich fibrin is isolated from the patient's blood – a substance with a gel-like consistency containing:

  • Concentrated platelets
  • CD34+ stem cells
  • Growth factors (PDGF, VEGF, TGF-β)

Injected into the scalp, I-PRF works on three levels:

  • Stimulates hair follicles – accelerating the hair transition from the resting phase (telogen) to the growth phase (anagen)
  • Improves scalp blood flow – delivering more oxygen and nutrients to hair follicles
  • Regenerates the scalp – supporting the treatment of inflammatory conditions, normalizing skin functions, and strengthening its structure

The result is a noticeable reduction in excessive hair loss, strengthening of hair, and gradual thickening.

Who is the treatment recommended for?

The I-PRF treatment for the scalp is recommended for individuals who:

  • Have noticed excessive hair loss (both sudden and chronic)
  • Are dealing with androgenic alopecia (both men and women)
  • Are experiencing hair weakening and thinning due to stress, pregnancy, hormonal disorders, or infections
  • Want to strengthen transplanted hair or prepare for transplantation
  • Seek an alternative to pharmacological therapy and synthetic trichological preparations
  • Have a scalp prone to inflammatory conditions, flaking, or dryness

Effects of the I-PRF treatment on the scalp:

  • Reduction in excessive hair loss → by activating hair follicles and improving their nutrition
  • Acceleration of new hair growth → noticeable hair thickening within 8-12 weeks
  • Strengthening hair structure → hair becomes thicker, stronger, and more resistant to external factors
  • Improved scalp blood flow → better oxygenation and metabolism of hair follicles
  • Normalization of skin functions → alleviation of inflammation, reduced itching, improved moisturization
  • Long-term regenerative effects → thanks to gradual release of growth factors
  • Possibility of combining with other trichological therapies → e.g., mesotherapy, carboxytherapy, biomimetic peptides

Treatment frequency

  • A single treatment can effectively support scalp condition, especially after an acute episode of hair loss.
  • For optimal results, a series of 3-4 treatments every 3-4 weeks is recommended, followed by maintenance treatments every 6 months.

Why is it worth it?

I-PRF treatment is a safe and effective method for scalp rejuvenation and hair growth stimulation. As an autologous therapy – based solely on components derived from the patient's own blood – it is free from allergy risks and side effects, while being in line with the body's natural physiology.

It is an ideal solution for individuals looking for natural but advanced methods to combat hair loss and hair weakening.

SKIN UP - natural filler + regeneration

Autologous next-generation tissue filler

The SKIN UP procedure is an innovative regenerative medicine treatment that harnesses the potential of a patient's own blood to rebuild volume and structure in the skin. It serves as an alternative to traditional synthetic fillers - completely biocompatible, safe, and natural. Thanks to modern technology for plasma separation and thermal processing, an autologous gel with consistency and properties similar to hyaluronic acid fillers is obtained, but without the risk of allergic reactions, swelling, or overcorrection.

SKIN UP is not just an aesthetic procedure but primarily a regenerative therapy that activates the skin's natural repair processes. Growth factors in platelet-rich plasma activate fibroblasts to produce collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid, leading to lasting strengthening and densification of tissues. As a result, the skin regains youthful elasticity, firmness, and volume, with facial features becoming harmonious and rested.

The procedure is performed in one visit - fully autologous, sterile, and safe. The resulting material can be used in various areas: from facial contouring, cheek corrections, nasolabial folds, temple and jawline areas, to lip revitalization or hand rejuvenation.

How the procedure works - mechanism of action

Below is a step-by-step description of the process:

  • Patient's blood collection - usually 10-20 ml.
  • Centrifugation of blood in special tubes to obtain platelet-rich plasma (PRP).
  • Subsequently, part of the plasma undergoes a heating process ("gelling") in a dedicated device such as the "Plasma Gel Maker" at around 80°C for about 10 minutes, followed by cooling for about 8 minutes - resulting in autologous gel with the right consistency.
  • Material homogenization by passing through syringes - allows for obtaining various versions (hard, medium, soft) depending on the area's needs.
  • Introduction of the resulting autologous gel - usually with a cannula or needle - into the selected facial and/or body areas for volume correction, contouring, and tissue regeneration.

The mechanism of action is based on both volumizing (filler gel filling gaps) and regenerative action (growth factors, platelet-rich plasma stimulating tissue repair).

Who is the procedure recommended for and what issues can it address?

This procedure is particularly recommended for individuals who:

  • Have visible loss of skin volume (e.g., in cheek, temple, or jaw areas).
  • Observe sagging of facial contours - jawline sagging, nasolabial folds.
  • Desire a "soft lifting" effect without synthetic fillers.
  • Have thin skin prone to swelling or are allergic/unwilling to use traditional hyaluronic acid-based fillers.
  • Want to improve the condition of hands, lips - areas challenging for traditional filling therapy.
  • Are willing to invest in regenerative treatments that combine aesthetic effects with skin structure improvement.

The procedure does not replace surgical facelift - in cases of advanced sagging or deep wrinkles, combination with other technologies may be necessary.

Skin types

The treatment can be used on most skin types - particularly beneficial if the skin is:

  • Thin, with visible subcutaneous tissue loss;
  • Beginning to lose firmness or volume ("structural wrinkles", sagging jawline);
  • Prone to swelling with traditional fillers - in such cases, autologous material may be a better choice.

As an expert, I emphasize that each skin requires individual assessment - a consultation with a cosmetic doctor will help determine: the product variant (soft/medium/hard), application technique, and potential combination with supporting therapies.

Effects of the SKIN UP procedure

  • Visible facial volume rebuilding - e.g., in cheek or temple areas, with autologous gel filling → the result is natural as it comes from the patient's blood.
  • Improvement of facial contour - the jawline becomes more defined, "chubby cheeks" reduce → the skin looks younger and more harmonious.
  • Smoothing wrinkles and skin folds - autologous gel and growth factors support tissue repair, leading to less visible mimic lines.
  • Enhancement of skin density and quality - platelet-rich plasma content makes the skin firmer, more elastic, with better tension.
  • Very good tolerance - as the material is autologous, the risk of allergic reactions or swelling is lower than with some synthetic fillers.
  • Regeneration effect - besides filling, the skin is biologically stimulated for repair and structural strengthening → result is not only aesthetic but also functional.
  • Possibility of application in various areas - from the face, through lips, hand dorsum, to contouring smaller body parts - thanks to the ability to vary the gel's consistency.

Frequency of treatments (usage plan)

To ensure optimal and lasting results, I recommend the following plan:

  • First treatment as a full material application - covering the indicated area.
  • After about 3 months, evaluate the effect and possibly supplement - especially if some autologous material has been partially resorbed.
  • Typically, after 2-3 treatments (spaced around 3 months), we achieve an effect lasting about a year.
  • In the following years, the treatment can be repeated once a year or as per individual dermatological assessment.

Each plan is determined by a specialist - considering the patient's age, skin condition, expectations, and treatment technique.

Number of areas that can be treated depending on the amount of autologous filler used

The treatment range depends on the amount of used filler, which is measured in syringe-ampoules. This allows for precise therapy adjustment to skin needs and the desired aesthetic effect.

  • 1 syringe - enables treatment of 1 larger area (e.g., cheeks, neck, forehead, décolletage) or 2 smaller areas (e.g., eye area + nasolabial fold).
  • 2 syringes - allow for comprehensive facial therapy (e.g., cheeks + eye area + forehead) or face and neck, providing significant skin smoothing and density improvement.
  • 3 syringes - enable full revitalizing therapy for face, neck, and décolletage or face and hands, offering rejuvenation effect on multiple areas simultaneously.

Example: Simultaneous treatment of cheeks, tear troughs, and chin - to achieve a natural smoothing and shaping effect on the lower face - typically requires 2-3 syringes, depending on the initial skin condition and expected results.

During the consultation, the specialist will assess skin needs precisely and propose an optimal treatment plan - to achieve a harmonious, natural effect without overcorrection.

Why choose the SKIN UP procedure?

Choosing SKIN UP is a conscious decision - it combines aesthetics with regenerative medicine, providing an advantage over traditional fillers:

  • The material comes from the patient's blood - minimizing reaction risks and increasing safety.
  • The effect is not only filling but also regenerative - meaning the skin not only looks better but functions better.
  • You can adjust the consistency (hard/medium/soft) and technique, achieving a natural look without an "overfilled" effect.
  • Excellent option for patients with filler allergies, tendency to swell, or desiring comprehensive anti-aging action.
  • In our clinic, Ambasada Urody Clinic & Spa in Warsaw, we provide thorough diagnostics, protocol selection, and full post-treatment support - ensuring client comfort and peace of mind.

By choosing SKIN UP, you invest in long-term effects - not only visual but also structural and skin health benefits.

Platelet-rich plasma + rich-platelet fibrin I-PRF - Series of 3 treatments

Natural Skin Rejuvenation and Advanced Skin Regeneration

Autologous treatments based on platelet-rich fibrin I-PRF are one of the most effective methods of natural rejuvenation and skin reconstruction, highly valued in both aesthetic and regenerative medicine. A series of 3 I-PRF treatments allows for intensive tissue remodeling - not only smoothing wrinkles but also regaining volume and skin quality in challenging areas such as tear troughs, neck, eyelids, and décolletage.

How does PRP + I-PRF therapy work?

The treatment combines two autologous fractions of the patient's blood:

  • Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) - contains concentrated blood platelets that immediately activate fibroblasts and other skin cells for regeneration, increase collagen production, and improve microcirculation.
  • Platelet-Rich Fibrin (I-PRF) - a modern, three-dimensional form of slow-releasing gel matrix that not only acts regeneratively but also creates a biological "scaffolding" for tissues, gently filling and rebuilding volume.

The result? Synergistic action in the superficial and deep layers of the skin: immediate improvement in firmness and complexion, as well as long-term tissue remodeling.

Who is the series of 3 treatments recommended for?

A series of 3 PRP + I-PRF treatments is recommended for patients who:

  • observe progressive signs of skin aging - wrinkles, furrows, sagging, loss of contour
  • want to improve the quality of thin, delicate, dehydrated skin - neck, eyes, décolletage
  • notice volume loss in areas such as tear troughs, cheeks, temples
  • deal with acne scars, stretch marks, or early signs of hair loss
  • prefer natural regeneration methods - without artificial substances and the risk of allergies
  • expect not only improvement in appearance but also deep structural renewal

Skin Types

The therapy is suitable for:

  • thin, atrophic, sagging skin
  • dry, dehydrated skin with lost elasticity
  • sensitive and reactive skin (due to the autologous nature of the preparation)
  • mature skin with signs of photoaging
  • skin after intensive dermatological or laser treatments requiring reconstruction

Effects of a series of 3 PRP + I-PRF treatments:

  • Visible smoothing of mimic wrinkles and furrows - around the eyes, lips, tear troughs, forehead, and neck
  • Improvement in facial contour and lift - subtle lifting effect without surgery
  • Skin densification and thickening - better tissue structure, thickness, and resilience, especially in sagging areas
  • Reduction of fatigue signs and dull complexion - skin becomes radiant and better oxygenated
  • Rebuilding tissue volume - especially in sunken facial areas like cheeks, temples, under the eyes
  • Evening out skin tone and reducing shadows - improved microcirculation, brightening around the eyes and cheeks
  • Long-lasting skin bio-stimulation - thanks to the slow release of growth factors from fibrin
  • Improvement in skin quality in challenging areas - décolletage, neck, lower eyelids
  • Rejuvenation and densification of the skin around the eyes - the "open-eyed" effect without the risk of swelling
  • Regeneration of tissues affected by acne scars, stretch marks, or hair thinning - improving skin texture and color and stimulating hair follicles
  • Natural filling effect without "artificial" volume - the face looks healthy, fresh, but not overdone

Frequency and therapy plan

  • For optimal results, a series of 3 treatments is recommended at intervals of 4-6 weeks.
  • The effects deepen over time and are long-lasting, allowing natural tissue remodeling to continue even 6-12 months after therapy completion.
  • Reminder treatment: every 6-12 months

Why opt for a series of 3 PRP + I-PRF treatments?

  • It is the most comprehensive form of skin regeneration - natural, safe, and effective.
  • The treatment series not only improves external appearance but genuinely rebuilds skin structure.

Expert opinion

dr Karolina Szyczyk

Platelet-rich fibrin is, for me, one of the most valuable regenerative treatments we have today in aesthetic medicine. We work with autologous material, which means it comes directly from the patient's blood, making the therapy extremely safe and biologically coherent with the body's physiology.

Unlike classic plasma, fibrin forms a three-dimensional network that gradually releases growth factors. This makes the regeneration process more long-lasting and predictable. It's not about a quick, superficial effect – it's about real tissue remodeling, improving skin quality, and densification.

In my daily practice, I particularly use PRF in the treatment of thin, lax skin, around the eyes, for loss of facial and neck elasticity, and as support in scar treatment. It's a procedure that doesn't change facial features or provide artificial volume. It restores the skin's biological regenerative potential.

Patients often ask me if fibrin "works." I answer: it works where the skin needs rebuilding, not filling. The effect is subtle but qualitative – the skin becomes firmer, more elastic, and visibly healthier. From the perspective of an aesthetic medicine doctor, I believe that platelet-rich fibrin is the foundation of a modern anti-aging approach – based on cellular regeneration and conscious, biological rejuvenation.
