Dry skin is thin, delicate, sensitive and has a greater tendency to allergies. It tends to react with redness, burning or other unpleasant ailment. It does not produce the right amount of sebum, resulting in excessive loss of moisture and increases susceptibility to all kinds of injuries. It ages quickly, loses elasticity and firmness. Wrinkles start to appear, since elasticity is in close relationship with the amount of water in the stratum corneum. It requires, above all, continuous humidification, nutrition and the additional input of lipids.
WHAT DOES THERAPY FOR DRY SKIN INVOLVE?
Therapy for dry and dehydrated skin is based on a multi-stage, individually tailored regenerating, moisturizing, and nourishing action. We use advanced technologies and medical-grade cosmeceuticals rich in bioactive ingredients, such as:
- hyaluronic acid of various molecular weights (hydrates deeply and superficially),
- biomimetic peptides and growth factors (strengthen the skin's structure),
- ceramides, phospholipids, and natural oils (rebuild the lipid barrier),
- antioxidants (neutralize free radicals and have anti-aging effects).
By combining technologies (e.g., mesotherapy, sonophoresis, oxybrasion, INDIBA®, oxygen infusion, facial endermology) with manual therapy and high-quality products, it is possible to achieve long-lasting results and deep skin comfort.
WHO ARE OUR TREATMENTS FOR DRY SKIN INTENDED FOR?
Treatments are aimed at individuals who experience discomfort related to dry, rough, and dehydrated skin on their face, neck, or décolletage. The therapy is also an ideal solution for mature individuals where skin dryness intensifies with age.
Indications for the treatment:
- feeling of tightness, dryness, and burning after washing the face,
- thin, rough, flaking skin,
- delicate, sensitive skin reacting to water, soap, cosmetics, and weather conditions,
- visible loss of firmness and elasticity,
- accelerated skin aging - expression lines, lack of radiance,
- tendency to redness, irritation, and broken capillaries, especially in the cheek area,
- mature, thin skin with disrupted hydrolipid barrier,
- skin in need of regeneration after medical treatments or intensive tanning.
The selection of the appropriate therapy is preceded by a free cosmetology consultation during which we will assess the condition of your skin and select the perfect treatment program.
EFFECTS OF TREATMENTS FOR DRY SKIN
After the first treatment, noticeable relief, improved elasticity, and the effect of "tension without pulling" are already visible. In a series, we achieve spectacular results not only aesthetic, but also therapeutic.
Benefits for your skin:
- deep and long-lasting moisturizing of the skin in each layer of the epidermis,
- rebuilding of the hydrolipid barrier, reduction of skin reactivity,
- firming, improvement of tissue tension and elasticity,
- smoothing of the skin structure, reduction of dryness and roughness,
- calming of inflammatory conditions and irritations,
- evening out of the complexion, reduction of minor discolorations and redness,
- oxygenation and nourishment of the skin - improvement of microcirculation and cell metabolism,
- relief of burning and itching sensations, improvement of daily comfort,
- anti-aging prevention - delaying the formation of wrinkles and loss of firmness,
- "glow" effect and radiant, healthy appearance already after the first treatment.
The effects are enhanced in a series of treatments, and the skin becomes increasingly resilient, radiant, and comfortable in daily functioning.
CONTRAINDICATIONS FOR PROCEDURES
Treatments for dry and dehydrated skin are safe and gentle, however, they should not be performed in certain situations:
- active skin infections (bacterial, viral, fungal),
- active herpes,
- fresh burns and skin damage,
- allergy to the ingredients of the products (individually determined),
- autoimmune skin diseases (during exacerbation),
- pregnancy and breastfeeding (for some methods - consultation with a cosmetologist).
POST-OPERATIVE RECOMMENDATIONS - HOW TO CARE FOR THE EFFECT?
To maximize the effects of therapy and support the regeneration process, we recommend following simple care guidelines:
- Avoiding strongly irritating cosmetics (with alcohol, AHA/BHA acids, retinol, alkaline soaps) for a minimum of 3-5 days after the procedure,
- Avoiding mechanical or enzymatic peels for at least a week,
- Protecting the skin from UV radiation - using SPF 50 creams for a minimum of 14 days after the procedure (even in winter and on cloudy days),
- Avoiding saunas, hot baths, and intense physical activity for 48 hours to prevent exacerbating potential irritations and vascular reactions,
- Maintaining proper hydration levels - drinking a minimum of 1.5-2 liters of water per day,
- Using moisturizing and regenerating dermocosmetics, rich in ceramides, hyaluronic acid, allantoin, panthenol, or natural oils (as recommended by a cosmetologist),
- Avoiding introducing new products into skincare for 5-7 days after the procedure - allow the skin to fully regenerate before starting new treatments.
Remember, proper home care is a key extension of in-office therapy effects and significantly influences the final result of the treatment. Consistency, gentleness, and a conscious approach to the needs of dry skin are the best investment in a healthy, radiant, and comfortable everyday appearance.
