Scars removal
The treatment of acne scars removal with a fractional laser activates skin cells. It stimulates the processes of new tissue formation while creating new collagen fibers which "push" existing scars upwards from the bottom up, leveling and smoothing the skin surface.
Noticeable effects are visible after the first treatment, but in order to achieve the expected and lasting results, they usually need to be performed four to six with an interval of at least a month.
Both fresh and perennial scars qualify for fractional laser treatment. The laser eliminates only the effects (scars) and not the causes of acne, so an absolute contraindication is therefore an active, untreated inflammation.
