KONCENTRAT BOGATOPŁYTKOWY NOWEJ GENERACJI
Platelet-rich fibrin is a next-generation platelet concentrate obtained from the patient's blood by drawing it and then centrifuging it. The material is rich in stem cells and platelets that produce growth factors. Fibrin differs from platelet-rich plasma in that it has a three-dimensional structured network, which creates a scaffolding in the injection site and stimulates the subcutaneous tissue to regenerate, providing a subtle volumizing effect, and the blood platelets it contains are stimulated for a longer time to release growth factors that rebuild the skin structure.
The preparation is natural, safe, and does not cause allergic reactions.
HOW DOES FIBRIN-RICH PLATELET-RICH PLASMA INTERACT WITH THE SKIN?
The interaction of platelet-rich fibrin with tissues is based on two basic mechanisms:
- Firstly, due to the high content of growth factors, it stimulates various regenerative processes in tissues. This leads to a number of benefits in terms of improving firmness, vitality, and tissue health (e.g., skin).
- The second mechanism is the action of blood platelets, or thrombocytes, which besides their obvious function of ensuring proper blood clotting, also secrete significant amounts of growth factors that further support the action of those factors already present.
WHAT ARE THE EFFECTS OF A RICH PLATELET FIBRIN TREATMENT?
Platelet-rich fibrin is used for comprehensive biostimulation and skin rejuvenation. The treatment causes regeneration of collagen and elastin fibers responsible for maintaining the skin in good condition, making it an excellent method for rejuvenating and improving the appearance of the face. It improves skin firmness and elasticity, densifies it, removes wrinkles and nasolabial folds, significantly rejuvenates the face contour and eye area. It also proves effective in improving the appearance of more delicate and challenging areas, such as the neck, décolletage, or hands. It is also very effective in treating baldness or removing scars, especially hypertrophic ones, as well as removing stretch marks.
Expert opinion
Platelet-rich fibrin is, for me, one of the most valuable regenerative treatments we have today in aesthetic medicine. We work with autologous material, which means it comes directly from the patient's blood, making the therapy extremely safe and biologically coherent with the body's physiology.
Unlike classic plasma, fibrin forms a three-dimensional network that gradually releases growth factors. This makes the regeneration process more long-lasting and predictable. It's not about a quick, superficial effect – it's about real tissue remodeling, improving skin quality, and densification.
In my daily practice, I particularly use PRF in the treatment of thin, lax skin, around the eyes, for loss of facial and neck elasticity, and as support in scar treatment. It's a procedure that doesn't change facial features or provide artificial volume. It restores the skin's biological regenerative potential.
Patients often ask me if fibrin "works." I answer: it works where the skin needs rebuilding, not filling. The effect is subtle but qualitative – the skin becomes firmer, more elastic, and visibly healthier. From the perspective of an aesthetic medicine doctor, I believe that platelet-rich fibrin is the foundation of a modern anti-aging approach – based on cellular regeneration and conscious, biological rejuvenation.
