Platelet-rich fibrin I-PRF

Platelet-rich fibrin is a new-generation platelet concentrate that is obtained from the patient's blood by collecting it and then centrifuging it. The material is rich in stem cells and growth factor-producing platelets. Fibrin differs from platelet-rich plasma in that it has a cross-linked, three-dimensional structure, thanks to which it creates a mesh at the injection site that supports the skin and stimulates the subcutaneous tissue to renew, giving the effect of gentle filling (volumetry), and the platelets contained in it for a long time are stimulated to secreting growth factors rebuilding the skin structure.

The effect of platelet-rich fibrin on tissues is based on two basic mechanisms:

First of all, thanks to the content of a large amount of growth factors, it stimulates various types of regenerative processes in tissues. As a result, there are a number of benefits in terms of improving the firmness, vitality and health of tissues (e.g. skin).
The second mechanism is the action of platelets, i.e. thrombocytes, which, apart from their obvious function of ensuring proper blood clotting, also secrete significant amounts of growth factors, which additionally support the activity of those factors that are already present.
Platelet-rich fibrin is used for comprehensive biostimulation and skin rejuvenation. The treatment regenerates collagen and elastin fibers responsible for keeping the skin in good condition, making it an excellent method of rejuvenating and improving the appearance of the face.
