Injection lipolysis is a non-invasive body contouring that involves injecting a substance that eliminates fat cells by means of injections. As a result, cells are dissolved and the released fats are broken down in the metabolic process and excreted from the body. Lipolysis is currently the most modern method of aesthetic medicine, which allows for non-surgical, permanent and effective reduction of body fat.
Patricia Rittes, a French doctor of dermatology, used injection lipolysis for the first time in 1995 on the basis that excess fat could be dissolved by injection. Dr. Rittes has developed a method to combat excess body fat by injecting phosphatidylcholine (liquid lecithin) into it and has performed treatments on over 8,000 patients, with amazing results each time. The procedure was considered completely safe on the basis of studies from 2002 carried out by the European Research Group Network-Lypolisis.
