PLEXR PLUS is the latest plasma generator that produces a controlled and targeted plasma micro beam by ionizing air gases. The key to the success of the device is the patented and protected by GMV method of selecting a specific current frequency for plasma generation. This is an important aspect of the safety of the therapy in patients who cannot undergo procedures with the use of devices that flow into their body. It is also extremely important in operating the sensitive eye area, mainly due to the maximum limitation of the possibility of nerve damage using this technology.
Plasma is an ionized gas containing approximately the same amounts of positive and negative charges. Due to its specific properties, it is called the fourth state of aggregation (next to gas, liquid and solid). During the action of the micro plasma beam on the patient's skin, the outer layers of the epidermis evaporate (sublimation), which causes a strong tension of the skin in the treated area. The effect of this action is skin shrinkage on the treated area, which in turn leads to eyelid lifting and reduction of wrinkles.
Unlike other techniques, the plasma used in PLEXR PLUS does not cause inflammation of the surrounding tissues because its action is limited to the border of the basal layer. PLEXR PLUS does not cause bleeding or necrosis of the surrounding tissues. These observations were confirmed in histological examinations of tissues treated with the PLEXR PLUS device. Thanks to this, PLEXR PLUS does not exclude patients from everyday activities - makeup is enough to cover the treated areas during the 5-day healing time.
